POSITION DESCRIPTION
Provide expert project management support in the areas of scheduling, estimating, planning, project execution and strategic planning.
Perform major organization assessments, project leadership assessments, and NNSA HQ interface to the SRPPF organization.
Provide mentoring to project/program managers and project control personnel in 413.38 implementation, project execution, Independent Project Reviews (IRR), Annual Project Reviews (APR) and EVMS.
Lead and/or participate in major project reviews such as contractor red/green team reviews ahead of IPRs, APRs, ICE, preliminary/final design and CD-3x packages submittals.
Provide consultation on all aspects of the plutonium facility operations to include multi-shift operations, BG operations (acquisition/operability/constructability), waste management and radiological operations.
Advise and support management in development of integrated team structure, leading identification of mission objectives and performance evaluation.
Provide oversight of support operations, possible involving multiple projects and groups of personnel.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in a technical field with 25 years broad experience in engineering, operations, marketing, strategic and business planning, or a bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 30 years’ experience as described above.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work in a diverse work environment,
20 or more years of experience working in plutonium facilities or on plutonium projects.
15 or more years of 413.3B project management experience
5 or more years of experience on NNSA/DOE capital line-item projects
Extensive experience with Hexagon’s SPF and SDx applications including:
o Deploying new SPF / SDx environments
o Developing / modifying / implementing complex document workflows
o Implementing new document types
o Configuring the SPF / SDx security models
o Configuring and implementing SDx tags
o Using SDx extensibility to facilitate information exchange between SDx and other internal business systems
Experience with standards for information management in the following areas:
o 3D Model Attributes
o Work Breakdown Structure
o Project Nomenclature
o Document Naming Convention
o Procurement/Material Management Systems
o Project EPC Automation Software Tools Architecture
o EPC Software Tools Data Warehousing
o Power BI use for the generation of reports from the EPC Software Tools / AWP Process
Lead a team of professionals that will manage, administer, and control the EPC Software Automation Tools and associated hardware.
Consult with: Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Document Control, Material Management, Construction, and Project Management on all matters related to the generation, storage, exchange, and consumption of data.

Desired Qualifications
Previous experience working at the Savannah River Site is preferred.
Familiarity and experience working with, configuring, planning, and deploying software in the Hexagon tool suite including: SDx, Smart Construction, Smart 3D, Smart WQMS, Smart Completions, Smart Electrical, Smart Materials, Smart Instrumentation, etc.
Familiarity with computer programming languages such as: C/C++, C#.net, REST API, Java, Python, Ruby, Unix Shell Scripting, SQL, etc.
Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, etc.
Familiarity with computer operating systems such as Microsoft Windows Server, and Linux / Unix.

PF-81 Evaluation Criteria:

Technical Acceptability 70%
Availability and Quals 10%

Duration of the Contract: 1 year, 2 one year option periods.

Estimated Hours Per Year: 2000 ST/ 300 OT

Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 600am-430pm
