Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Professional Staff Assistant 2 opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Location: Fully Remote with occasional meetings onsite required
Group/Organization: ALDPP-INT
Work Schedule: 5/8 schedule
Positions Available: 1
Clearance: Able obtain and maintain “Q”

Summary:
Provides professional business, operational, and/or programmatic support for specialized functions, programs, and/or organizations. Specific duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to, providing resource and project management; conducting research and assembling data for assigned specialized reports, presentations, and/or planning documents; planning meetings and conferences; and assisting in the analysis, design and implementation of business, operational, and/or programmatic initiatives to ensure organizational objectives.

Job requirements:
This person must navigate the software Admin Portal for our Service Now AskSecurity website.
The Ideal candidate will be at least a High School Graduate with moderate to advanced technical skills including admin and customer service experience.
This person will have experience collaborating with multiple teams.
This person will have a positive attitude and demonstrate patience during a lengthy project.
The Ideal Candidate lives full time in New Mexico and can travel on site for meetings when requested.
This person will be the main contact for everything AskSecurity: fielding questions; enabling SMEs; facilitating online/in person training; ensuring project completion.
This person is responsible for fielding/hosting focus groups for agent training in Service Now
Experience in Microsoft Teams, Outlook Calendar, on-line Sharepoint-like portal
This person will be utilizing AccessIT for agent Approvals in Oracle (requires A Level access).
This person will have prior knowledge/some experience in implementing a new software and assisting the developers in the going live process. This can include anything from assisting in demos and being the main point of contact if anything is not properly functioning.
This person will be comfortable in managing the admin portal in Service Now which can change on a day to day basis, depending on customers’ needs and requests.

Education:
Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Undergraduate coursework is typically expected at this level.
