Allied Power Services is currently seeking a Cost Engineer to support their Nuclear contract in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Job Overview:
Supports the Site Core Team with input and maintenance of site financial information in the cost management system. Manages the timeline, budget and risks of the work performed.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Demonstrates basic knowledge of maintaining the Cost Management System
Verify charges and process weekly invoices
Assists with tracking of work scope funding and timely payment authorization of invoices
Supports creation and maintenance of Outage Load Boards
Participates in preparation of Daily Outage Cost Reports
Develops resource / cash flow plans to project future resource needs
Begins to demonstrate skill in analysing cost data
Ability to support payroll as needed
Required Qualifications:
1-3 years experience with accounting
Microsoft Office experience
Access, Excel, Outlook
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
Nuclear experience is preferred
Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience
Overtime and non-standard work hours as required
Extended periods of sitting
May require wearing personal protective safety equipment
Lift, carry, position and/or equipment (weighing up to 25 lbs.)
