Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an HVAC Engineer opportunity in Erwin, TN.

Work location is 100% onsite.

Short-term assignment; projected duration will be 3-4 months.

Job Description:
Design of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing systems serving heavy commercial, industrial, and power industries.
Perform equipment sizing, thermal load, and ductwork sizing calculations.
Develop procurement specifications, prepare engineering drawings such as piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID), airflow diagrams, equipment plan, and ductwork layout drawings.
Exercise sound engineering judgment in assessing problem situations or complex issues, review completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and design criteria.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
4+ years of experience with the design of building services (HVAC) systems serving powerplants, heavy industrial and commercial applications.
Must be a US Citizen.
