Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Estimator opportunity for the US Department of Energy’s Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) in Las Vegas, NV.

Business Travel/Per diem available for those who qualify. Local candidates preferred.
Work Location: Remote/Hybrid Work Arrangement. Work locations include NNSS, North Las Vegas, and Remote from Las Vegas or home.
Security Clearance: DOE Q Clearance preferred, but not required.
Experience Level: Subject Matter Expert

Scope of Work:
The general scope of this task order is to provide subject matter technical expertise to MSTS Estimating through the evaluation of work breakdown structures and the review and interpretation of engineering design, construction, and support documentation. This scope of work is dynamic as the estimate progresses through the stages of development that require review/interpretation of above and below ground, focusing on high complexity projects.

Provide SME review/input of work breakdown structures, engineering, FRD, design requirements, and PM documents related to projects for Hazard Category (HC)2, HC3, High Hazard (HH) and General Service (GS) facilities estimating requests across the NNSS, NLV, and outlier locations, above and below ground, focusing on high complexity projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree
Ten years minimum professional experience providing or reviewing cost estimates related to, but not restricted to NNSS/NLV, Underground (UG) mining, power, barriers and construction activities, including Project Manager (PM) documentation AND/OR Engineering requirements to support estimating accuracy to meet demand and deliverables.
