Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Cost Control Manager opportunity in Eunice, NM at Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility.
Work Location: On-Site at Urenco. A hybrid work arrangement may be considered.
Per diem is available for those who qualify.
UUSA, operated by Louisiana Energy Services LLC, is the only commercial enrichment facility operating in the US, and is located in Eunice, New Mexico.
Cost Control Manager
Duties:
Works with the Project Manager to help define the project's goals and objectives; create and maintain a project's budget and schedule, analyze progress reported against the work schedules; and recommend actions to improve progress.
Cost estimating and cost management of the project budget and actuals. Setup of WBS for SAP using ETC standards and reporting of finances.
Risk/Opportunity Management; management and update of the risk and opportunity register.
Change Management; controlling the scope of the project, impact analysis in the cost and schedule, preparation of change approvals to the change board.
Reporting; collation of the project report to the ETC USA Project Manager.
Review, analyze, and process invoices, generate Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Orders.
Complex Deals - reviews for order acceptance/compliance- analyzes deal as sold to understand project set-up to ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition.
Acts as point of escalation and collaborates with other business functions to drive resolution of operational issues of high complexity, in support of the customer/partner requirements.
Ensures commercial, legal & ETC policy & procedures compliance and internal approvals.
Oversees Records Retention.
Ensures proper subcontract purchase requisition implementation and on-going invoicing and costs are monitored.
Proactively communicates operational process changes to customer/partners, internal customers, and ETC USA Project Manager.
Oversees on-going project administration to closure.
Support business counterparts to have appropriate pricing.
Verify and track Certificates of Insurance for all contractors and subcontractors for all construction/capital projects before work commences and verify that certificates remain effective while project is active.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business/Administration, Business/Management, or related field.
10-20+ years of related experience
Department of Energy (DOE) project experience
Ability to obtain and maintain NRC Q Clearance

Security Clearance Requirement: Controlled Access Area (CAA) Access and an L or Q level security clearance is required
