Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Chemical Dose Assessment/Consequence Engineer opportunity in Eunice, NM at the Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility.

Work Location: Hybrid with 2-3 weeks on-site at a time with business travel for on-site trips.
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain DOE L or Q level clearance
Citizenship: United States Citizenship required.

Urenco USA (UUSA), operated by Louisiana Energy Services LLC, is the only commercial enrichment facility operating in the US, and is located in Eunice, New Mexico.

Scope of Work:
Will perform Chemical Dose Assessment/Consequence Calculations.
Will support Nuclear Criticality Safety Analyses and Evaluations.
Will support the overall mission of the facilities design safety program for both operational activities in addition to the development of new design safety basis for future projects.
Will participate in facility walkdowns, group training activities, and will work as a member of the Design Safety Basis organization.
Will support process hazards analyses and perform Integrated Safety Analysis impact evaluations, and other tasks as agreed, generally working in the areas of design safety basis.

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred) with Chemical Dose Assessment/Consequence experience is required.
Must have past experience performing calculations and utilizing various modeling software similar to RASCAL or ALOHA.
Should have experience with documented safety analyses analysis (DOE-STD-3009) or Integrated Safety Analysis (10 CFR 70).
