Job Description
Work hybrid schedule, with only reporting to office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a CAD Operator on a temp-to-hire basis. This is working for a large nuclear Architectural/Engineering design firm with a large presence in North America.
Requirements:
Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school in Computer Aided Drafting or Engineering curriculum; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of practical work experience in related industry.
Autodesk Certification preferred or willing to be taught MicroStation by our Team.
Experience using MicroStation preferred

Responsibilities:
Interpreting project briefs and meeting with clients, engineers, and architects to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications.
Producing rough sketches and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints.
Updating software, drawings, and other documents.
Remaining professional when feedback is delivered and implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possible.
Ensuring drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principles.
Communicating potential design issues to engineers and architects.
Conducting research when required.
CAD Operator (MicroStation) - LOCAL to Naperville, IL
