Senior Estimator

Job Description

Responsibilities:
· Review source data including engineering documents
· Work with Volume III Lead to develop estimating plan and handbook
· Identify scope of work areas that require subcontract support or specially engineered equipment, and work with Supply Chain to write specifications and obtain pricing
· Identify scope areas that require subject matter expertise, and work with Proposal Manager to identify appropriate SMEs
· Select appropriate estimate methodologies
· Oversee and review the work of estimators and Junior Estimators.
· Participate in review process and ensure comments and feedback are implemented

Basic Job Requirements
· Must be a U.S. Citizen
· Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to project controls
· This is intended to be a senior level person with no less then experience equal to 14+ years’ experience
