[Superintendent] Immediate Need - Scaffold/Insulation/I&C Superintendents

Allied Power Services is currently seeking Superintendents (Insulation/Scaffold/I&C) to support their Nuclear contract for the Christopher Crane Clean Energy Center.

Supervisors are responsible for coordinating all Civil crafts for a nuclear power plant. They are responsible for making sure all safety policies and procedures are met by all individuals they supervise. Ensures the jobs are all being performed to standards.

Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Ensures subordinates are working efficiently and up to code.
2. Ensures field implementation activities are in compliance with Key Result Area (KRA’s) expectations.
3. Plans required work activities to ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are available.
4. Monitors the activities of assigned contractors and ensures compliance with project quality, safety, and security requirements.
5. Remains up to date on safety procedures and government requirements. Makes sure safety is a priority from project to project.

Physical Demands:
Works in various levels of environmental conditions including, but not limited to, office workspace, nuclear job site locations, and client facilities. There are some small spaces, moving mechanics, as well as places high off the ground, fumes or airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme temperatures.

Required Education, Experience, Certification and Licenses:
1. 10 years (minimum) of nuclear facility experience
2. No degree? 10 years of craft experience accepted
3. 5 years (minimum) supervision over craft personnel and with a union
4. Knowledge of Microsoft office (including e-mail and spreadsheets)
