Allied Power Services is currently seeking a Payroll Clerk to support their Nuclear contract for the Christopher Crane Clean Energy Center.

The Payroll Clerk compiles payroll data. Assists the Payroll Manager in their daily duties and responsibilities. Performs action necessary to determine pay and deductions. Reconciles errors and maintain payroll records.
Essential Functions:

1. Compiles payroll data, enters data, computes and posts wages, and reconciles errors to maintain payroll records.
2. Prepares computer input forms, enters data into computer files, and posts to payroll records.
3. Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.
4. Records changes affecting net wages to update master payroll records.
5. Process tax for assigned entities.
6. Compile internal management reports from payroll system software.

Physical Demands:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Required Education, Experience, Certification and Licenses:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Microsoft Office experience
3. Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4. College degree (preferred)
5. Nuclear industry experience (preferred)
