Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Principal Process / Mechanical Engineer opportunity to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.

Work Location: Greenville, SC

Principal Process / Mechanical Engineer-

Responsibilities:
Provide technical direction to assigned engineers.
Conduct construction document reviews as required.
Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.
Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development.
Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design.
Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications is required.

Basic Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design
Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
