Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for nuclear Mechanical Design Mod Engineers on a long-term contractual to support developing design mod packages for their clients.

* 100% remote, no travel required.
* Flexible schedule be available during normal business hours but if you want to take a 2-hour lunch or go to a kid's ballgame, that's fine. Just get the work done and participate in Teams meetings!
* Diverse nuclear client base - so if work runs out with one client, you just move to another project.
* Opportunity to be hired contract to direct (or direct on occasion), if that's of interest to the candidate.
* Part-time or full-time.

Requirements:
* B.S. degree in engineering
* 3+ years current experience developing mechanical design change packages for nuclear plant mods - including calcs, specs, analysis, etc.
* Background in mods that involve valves, pumps, etc. (this is not pipe support)
* Experience with IP-ENG-001.
* Experience as a Responsible Engineer.
* Ability to work independently and against deadlines.
