[Pipe Stress Engineer] Senior Pipe Support Engineer (2589/2590)

ANR Group Inc is accepting resumes for a Senior Pipe Support Engineer Located in Richland, WA.

Initially anticipated to be a one-year assignment with the potential for extension. The hourly rate range for this position is $34-$74 per hour (plus full benefits) with overtime paid at time and ½ for hours worked over 40 in one week. Client allows for reimbursement of mobilization, daily per diem and M&IE, monthly trips home and demobilization.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK – SPECIFIC

• Essential duties include the locating and designing supports for various piping systems and performing associated calculations.
• Familiar with common pipe support hardware, industry standards, and relevant codes such as AISC & ASME B31.3.
• Work closely with layout personnel and pipe stress and other support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.
• Prior experience should include working in a 3D model environment.
• Requires ability to work in 3D model environment for extraction of 2D pipe support drawings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards
• Prior experience using structural analysis programs
• Grade education/experience included:
Grade 25 - BS degree with 6 years of related experience
Grade 26 - BS degree with 9 years of related experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
• Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site. (Even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge)
• Must possess the right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• PE Registration
• Prior experience using pipe stress analysis programs ME150 (FAPPS) or GT STRUDL
• Prior experience using Pipe SupportModeler software
• Previous project experience
• Previous DOD/DOE project experience
