Job Summary: Roles and Responsibilities:
Design of electrical systems for facilities / laboratories for Government, University, and private clients.
Provide conceptual / detailed design and analysis for facility power distribution (600V), emergency power generation, grounding and lightning protection, lighting design, telecommunications (voice/data), fire alarm / mass notification, security, access control, and special systems.
Provide supporting documentation such as calculations, reports, and specifications.
This individual is expected to possess extensive knowledge on electrical regulatory codes.
Candidate will work with designers in order for them to produce final designs of the facility.
Qualifications:
��������� Eight (8) years of experience in facility Electrical Engineering design
��������� Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required
��������� Familiar with REVIT/AutoCAD or other design software-based drawing generation
��������� Experience using electrical calculation tools is desired, including lighting and power software such as AGi32, Elum Tools, SKM Power Tools, ETAP, and EasyPower.
��������� Proficient using Microsoft Office Excel & Word
��������� Experience with technical codes such as NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEEE is required
��������� Experience with USDA, ARS, CDC and other laboratory clients is highly desired
��������� Must be a U.S. Citizen
