• Full-Time, Onsite, 12 Month Contract, high likelihood of extension based on performance/job needs.
• Schedule: 4 Days x 10 Hours, Monday-Thursday
• Salary Range: $75-95/hour depending on experience, + Per Diem.

About the Role:

Are you an expert in mechanical systems with extensive experience in nuclear, steam-cycle, and regulated industrial environments? We are seeking a Senior Implementation Manager to join our client’s team. This critical role involves providing technical oversight and support services for Enterprise Risk Projects, ensuring that projects are delivered with the highest quality, on schedule, within budget, and with minimized risks.

As a Senior Implementation Manager, you will be the go-to authority for refining project strategies, improving schedules, and ensuring cost-effective execution. You will work closely with Project Managers and other key stakeholders to drive project success, particularly during refueling outage critical paths where your expertise will contribute to saving time and reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Review and refine key project documentation, including project schedules, risk registers, quality control plans, and resource strategies. Identify and correct errors or misconceptions to ensure successful project implementation.
• Quality Assurance: Validate the quality of Work Order Tasks (WOTs) and ensure they meet work management processes. Provide improvements to testing and acceptance plans.
• Governance and Oversight: Maintain a broad knowledge of codes, standards, and industry trends. Provide timely feedback to management and oversee shop or field activities as needed.
• Support and Collaboration: Coordinate resources and collaborate with vendors to remove roadblocks. Attend key strategy meetings to contribute to project readiness and challenge discussions.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:

○ Advanced degree in a related field + 10 years of mechanical experience in a commercial nuclear, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment
○ OR Bachelor’s degree + 12 years of experience
○ OR Associate’s degree + 14 years of experience
○ OR High School Diploma/GED + 16 years of experience

• Required Skills:

○ Mechanical experience in a commercial nuclear, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment is mandatory
○ Experience with code and regulatory requirements related to maintenance and field work activities is essential
○ Expertise in Enterprise Management Software (e.g., Asset Suite, SAP)
○ Familiarity with logic-driven schedules (Primavera, Microsoft Project)
○ Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
○ Advanced computer skills

• Preferred Skills and Experience:

○ Construction management experience
○ Experience in refueling outages at a commercial nuclear power plant
○ Familiarity with feedwater heaters, steam systems, and ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel code
○ Relevant certifications in mechanical disciplines or construction
