Allied Power Services is currently seeking Regional EHS Managers to support the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast contract region.
Responsible for providing management and direction to site EHS professionals in integrating Environmental, Health and Safety processes at Allied Power project sites. Ensure implementation of EH&S processes and procedures to drive breakthroughs to achieve world class performance levels. Provide technical expertise to assure compliance with procedures, processes, regulations and standards at all locations. Develop and manage field and site safety professionals assigned to responsible project sites. Perform assessments and audits of all processes and programs, identify areas of improvement and ensure implementation of corrective actions. Actively participate in EH&S management team initiatives.
Manage and develop field support EHS teams.
Support outages and site projects as necessary.
Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships supporting Allied Power and customer initiatives.
Assist in the development of a world-class safety organization based on behavior based safety principles, industry best practices, and leading indicator processes and metrics. This includes initiating continuous improvement EH&S initiatives and enhancing EH&S processes and IT systems.
Ensure full compliance of Allied Power project sites to all applicable Allied Power processes and procedures, local, state and federal standards and regulations and industry best practices.
Provide EH&S related training at jobsites and corporate locations as required
Competencies:
1. Team leadership and development experience.
2. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and platform speaking skills)
3. High degree of professionalism and business acumen with the ability to interface and develop strong internal and external relationships with senior management and executive leadership.
4. Subject matter expertise with OSHA and all applicable EH&S laws, regulations, and statutes. Subject matter expertise in behavior based safety programs and practices.
Prior experience and success in a manager EH&S leadership role in companies with large revenue. Power, Process & Industrial and Construction experience preferred in both a union and non-union environment
Required Education, Experience, Certification and Licenses:
1. B.S. degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering or other technical degree preferred
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office
3. 10+ years� dedicated EHS experience, including leadership roles
4. OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred)
5. Degree in Environmental Safety, Engineering, or other related field
6. Nuclear/Fossil/Construction experience required
