Responsibilities:

Project Engineer will provide Project Engineering support and coordination for Enriched Uranium Operations (EUO) Production Microwave initiatives to increase equipment reliability and process throughput.

Project Engineer will provide support necessary to complete design and implementation of data acquisition network and remote monitoring capability for out gassing oven equipment used by Special Materials Operations (SMO) Production personnel. Additional responsibilities include:

Provide technical integration, leadership, guidance, and direction to other multi-disciplined engineering teams as requested for high profile plant initiatives and will appropriately apply American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements for work in nuclear facilities.
Plan and direct the engineering activities on projects.
Establish detailed project design scope, budgets, and schedules.
Professionally coordinate engineering efforts with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls personnel.
Review project engineering progress against approved schedules and take corrective action when required.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
Must be US citizen.
Successful drug screening.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineering License (P.E.).
Active Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD) Top Secret (TS) Clearance.
