Sr Level Thermal Hydraulics Engineer needed for remote work.
The person in this position independently performs design, safety analysis and thermal hydraulics analysis in support of licensing new SMR.
Specifically:
1. Using expert technical knowledge and experience with the government regulator to identify and mitigate engineering design solutions and potential licensing risks.
2. Perform safety analysis calculations using industry-standard simulation tools such as RELAP5, RETRAN, TRACE, COBRA, VIPRE, TRAC, and/or RADTRAD.
3. Apply reactor thermal hydraulic concepts to support design and licensing of the NuScale small modular nuclear reactor.
4. Review and provide comments on Safety Analysis engineering work products.

Must have: 20 years of nuclear power experience….15 years thermal hydraulics analysis experience Engineering degree
