GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Technical Lead Engineer to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN, which provides integral mission support to the DOE and NNSA.

This position is expected to be full-time and will be located in Oak Ridge, TN.

OVERVIEW
Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with the senior leadership team and internal stakeholders.
Establishing effective and appropriate project governance for a project.
Producing and maintaining a project plan while conducting the project within constraints of the framework used by different delivery teams.
Developing full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Estimating the resources and participants required to achieve project goals.
Ensuring proper financial management of the project.
Ensuring proper risk management by documenting all risks and employing an effective.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree from ABET accredited college or university and 10+ years of experience providing technical and management support in a chemical or nuclear industry, and 5+ years of experience in maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment and managing treatment processes in a chemical or nuclear industry.
Experience managing an RCRA permitted facility, and experience maintaining a DOE/NNSA facility within a prescribed facility safety envelope.
Knowledge and experience in managing personnel in various disciplines.
CLEARANCE & CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT
To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.
