Field Engineers needed for future work in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi for sub-station and distribution work.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform inspections of work in progress on a continual basis and complete final inspections and checkouts based on discipline of position (I&C / Electrical etc.).
Assist project controls and supervision in the establishment of detailed work plans and mini-schedules.
Prepare Discipline work Packages for installations, review packages with Craft Supervision and monitor the related work activities in the field. Prepare field reports on findings.
Prepare technical direction for material installations as assigned by discipline engineering & as requested by craft supervision.
Perform takeoffs, track field purchased materials for disciplined assigned to.
Coordinate and document client and vendor required verifications.
Assist the technical coordination of work activities involving the lock-out and tag-out program.
Coordinate with Vendor Technical Advisors as required.
Coordinate with Design Engineering to resolve design issues and drawing issues.
Inspect permanent plant materials during the receiving process to ensure they meet project standards and drawings.
Perform routine duties as assigned by Discipline Lead / Engineering Management.
Participate in field walk downs for discipline with Engineering and Supervisors.

Requirements;
Experience in construction and technical inspection in the areas of installation of discipline related items.
B.S. in Engineering or related field or equivalent field experience (7+ years Electrical / I&C or related field experience).
