UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Manager – Task Lead opportunity for our customer in Aiken, SC to support the Savannah River Site.

Job Summary
Support the NNSA Capital Projects mission being performed at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), LLC. The primary focus of these support efforts will be to assist both project and program management in the execution of systems engineering (SE) for NNSA Capital Projects (NCP).

DUTIES
• Provide value Management engineering studies and alternative evaluations.
• Manage tracking, validations, and verifications.
• Utilize systems functional modeling, layout, and analysis.
• Provide engineering integration and interface activities.
• Development and execution of project management plans.
• Provide system and design reviews.
• Maintain life cycle cost analysis.
• Develop and implementation of system engineering software tools (e.g. CORE, DOORS, Expert Choice, etc.)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in science or engineering.
PMP certification preferred.

Experience/Skills:
• Minimum 5 years supporting commercial or federal science nuclear engineering, or other
task relevant programs or projects.
• 1 to 5 years’ experience in a management position.
• Survey development, economic analysis, organizational analysis, performance data gathering, project administration program analysis, and assessment support.
• Monthly reporting of activities accomplished by the subcontractor systems engineering tasks.
• Coordination of resources for specific systems engineering assignments.
• Candidate must have strong problem solving, analysis and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills.

Work Hours:
• A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules, including 5/8s
(8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9
hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS holidays.
Each workday has a 30-minute lunch. Work hours in excess of forty hours a week may be
required, as authorized by SRNS management.

Area Security Access:
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. Supplier shall possess a positive FOCI determination from DOE which includes “Q” security clearance level. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. After award, the selected candidate will be notified when to apply for a clearance
based on specific work assignments. Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two years are preferred.
