** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Sitework Engineer to fill a 6 - month assignment (with the possibility of extension) in the Birmingham, AL area.

Job Title: Sitework Engineer

Work Location: Remote/ Birmingham, AL
Rate of pay: $48.00 - $75.00 depending on experience.

Requirements:

This is a hybrid position consisting of remote and in-office work located in Birmingham, AL
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with experience in site development and design
Minimum four (4) years of experience in site development and design
Experience that includes grading plan design, hydrology and stormwater management, design, roadway design, and erosion control planning and design associated with preparing construction drawings
Demonstrated ability to produce site development drawings and design documents including site grading plans, stormwater design, erosion control plans, specifications, stormwater calculations, and construction quantity estimates
Experience and solid understanding of survey data and how it is required to perform a site development design as related to producing construction plans
Experience and strong understanding of erosion control design
Knowledge of the requirements for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, Alabama Department of Environmental Management, and Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality for preparing erosion control plans
Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
Strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other similar software, for producing grading plans, site development construction drawings and other sitework related drawings and designs
Understanding in stormwater design using AutoCAD SSA (Storm and Sanitary Analysis), Hydraflow Hydrographs, Hydraflow Express, HY-8, or other similar stormwater management software
Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse team environment
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
