UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a NARRATIVE & BOE LEAD opportunity for our customer in Aiken, SC to support the Savannah River Site.

DUTIES

Job Summary
Subcontractor shall provide strategic planning support services to the NNSA Capital Projects mission being performed by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), LLC. The primary focus of these support efforts shall be to provide assistance and support to the SRNS NNSA Capital Projects initiative through the development, editing, revision, and submittal of Critical Decision 2/3 packages. Also provide support for strategic planning activities relative to the SPD, TFF, and
SRPPF Projects.

DUTIES
Provide one Narrative and BOE Lead (CLIN 16) for support of CD 2/3 package submittal for SRNS NNSA Capital Projects, including the following respective tasks:
• Work with Program Manager to recruit team including SMEs, Schedulers, and Technical
Writers
• Direct all activities required to set up the team for execution phase
• Track status of all CD deliverables
• Direct execution of all workflows to produce estimate, schedule, and supporting narrative
on schedule
• Work with Program Manager to resolve any issues preventing progress of work
• Oversee compliance with CD requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Minimum of a Four-year degree

Experience/Skills:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience developing schedules for engineering, construction,
operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and /or project management.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical writing experience.
• Specific experience in cost narrative and basis of estimate development for DOE projects
and proposals.

Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules, including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch. Work hours in excess of forty hours a week may be required, as authorized by SRNS management.

Area Security Access:
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. Supplier shall possess a positive FOCI determination from DOE which includes “Q” security clearance level. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties while clearance request is processing. After award, the selected candidate will be
notified when to apply for a clearance based on specific work assignments. Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two years arepreferred.
