Job Description
Senior Mechanical Engineer with Fire Protection experience, for a 12-month contract assignment supporting the western region of the Tennessee Valley service area. This role offers a W2 hourly base rate of $78.56/hour with time and a half for overtime. This is a remote/hybrid role with up to 50% travel. Travel is reimbursed at standard GSA rates.

Education / Experience:
• BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN MECHANICAL OR CHEMICAL ENGINEERING.
• 10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.
• 4+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEERING.
• PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING (PE) CERTIFICATION PREFERRED.
• MUST BE MULTI-TASK ORIENTED, HAVE EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND ORAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS, AND DEMONSTRATE EXCELLENT ANALYTICAL, CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING, CUSTOMER FOCUS, AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS.
