[Construction Manager] Construction Manager - Urenco - 8346

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Construction Manager opportunity in Eunice, NM at Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility.

Work Location: On-Site at Urenco
Per diem is available for those who qualify.

UUSA, operated by Louisiana Energy Services LLC, is the only commercial enrichment facility operating in the US, and is located in Eunice, New Mexico.

Duties:
Responsible for managing all construction activities.
Interface and obtain alignment between the production managers and key stakeholders to effectively implement the construction schedule.
Coordinate, track and validate schedule adherence for construction.
Responsible for implementing construction schedule by leading and coordinating large project teams across multiple organizations
Maintain effective short- and long-range schedule compliance
Effectively communicate organizational support needs (Engineering assistance, QC assistance, etc.) for maintaining compliance with construction schedule.
Ensure compliance with all necessary procedural requirements to support construction IAW all safety requirements, design requirements, schedule expectations, cost estimates and quality requirements
Interface with regulatory and government agencies / offices.
Includes other duties and responsibilities as directed.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree from a four year accredited college or university in Engineering field of study. 10 years of relevant experience in a field construction leadership role may be substituted for a Bachelor degree.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years related experience in construction management.
Knowledgeable in the generation and application of project management principles, concepts and techniques including contract generation and implementation.
Knowledgeable of construction principles and problem-solving techniques.
Knowledgeable of long-range project scheduling.
Knowledgeable of vendor contract requirements and capable of validating and enforcing contract and cost compliance.
Ability to provide prioritization, direction and mentoring for team lead / member to solve a variety of problems.
Ability to coordinate and effectively communicate established priorities across multiple groups (vendor) assigned activities.
Ability to determine, communicate and obtain assistance for challenges to completing assigned activities per the schedule
US Citizenship is required.

Job Details
The work location for this position is Urenco USA, Eunice, NM
Security Clearance Requirement: Controlled Access Area (CAA) Access and an L or Q level security clearance is required
Work Environment: Radiological exposure expectations of < 100 mrem/yr. General Office, Plant Production Areas. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc
