eVinci Microreactor Community Engagement Intern - Remote- (INTERNSHIP for undergrad or graduates from 2023/2024) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to the eVinci microreactor business development team. This position will support various external engagement efforts with Indigenous communities, academic institutions, businesses, organizations and general public
• Create an external engagement roadmap; develop and implement a plan to successfully inform and engage key parties regarding the eVinci microreactor technology and/or relating to a specific project
• Preparing presentations, marketing material, supporting conferences and some admin support
• Critically assess Westinghouse projects to find new ways of incorporating Indigenous ways of knowing into our initiatives, and making suggestions to reduce barriers of access to our programs;
• Build an Indigenous Community Resources Toolkit that can be shared across Westinghouse and external partners
• Asses new market opportunities and conduct desktop market research

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies: Who You Are:

• A registered student in Canadian University working towards a University or College degree or a recent graduate
• Seeking a 4-8 month internship position. This position offers flexibility on duration of role and is open to extension and potential full time opportunity
• Experience working with, or in, Indigenous communities, in Indigenous and Rural Relations coordination, or experience working with diverse communities required. Please mention and bold if you have this experience in your resume.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective oral and written communications skills
• Interest and experience with emission-free technology is an asset
• Potential to travel to support team meetings or conferences
• This position is available for fully remote work and/or at any of our Canadian offices
