Lead CAP Analyst (15832-en_US)

  • Provide direction, oversight, support and maintenance of the CAP program, processes, procedures, reports, and tools
  • Provide leadership guidance to ensure a robust corrective action program
  • Ownership of procedures pertaining to the CAP program
  • Provide guidance to other personnel performing CAP responsibilities
  • Maintain Issue Review Committee (IRC), Corrective Action Review Board (CARB), Screener and Issue Owner qualifications
  • Screen items entered into the CAP for issue significance, ownership, and coding
  • Coordinator for the Issue Review Committee (IRC) and Corrective Action Review Board (CARB), responsible for scheduling meetings, maintenance, and distribution of minutes
  • Support site personnel in the administration of CAP items
  • Support Customer Issue Review Team by scheduling meetings, communicating items for review, and helping to ensure quality CAP responses to customer identified items
  • Support completion and proper distribution of Operating Experience
  • Maintain effective communication with corporate CAP personnel
  • Develop a quarterly CAP trending report
  • Interface with auditors and inspectors to ensure requested information is provided in a timely manner
  • Provide mentoring and support for personnel assigned to conduct causal analysis activities
What you need to be successful in this role:
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience in performing performance improvement type activities
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role or applicable work experience related to use of CAP or performance improvement type activities
  • Proficient in knowledge, understanding and experience of a robust and effective corrective action program
  • Proficient in using Performance Improvement programs and processes
  • Excellent leadership skills, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and use and knowledge of corrective action program software
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with, influence, and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
