[Electrician] Electrical Equipment Inspectors

Scope:

Seeking electrical inspectors to assist our Electrical Authority Having Jurisdiction (E-AHJ) and Electrical Equipment Inspectors (EEIs) to inspect electrical equipment identified in the Unlisted Electrical Equipment Database. The subcontracted electrical equipment inspectors will work closely with, and under the direction of, current EEIs to identify and perform equipment inspections and provide a report to the EEI for review. As needed, the report will be used to provide guidance to staff members to make the necessary modifications to equipment. The EEI will be responsible for the final approval or rejection of equipment. The client will train the subcontractors to the requirements of ORNL’s EEI program; this includes Lock/Tag/Verify (LTV) training and other identified courses.

NOTE: The client's EEIs will be responsible for making the final determination of equipment status based on the subcontractor's inspection report.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, physics, or a related field, or
Minimum 5 years of experience in design, fabrication, and/or maintenance of electrical utilization equipment.
