Responsibilities:
Prepare Mechanical Schematics, and Conceptual Models,
Experience with Building Systems (HVAC, Plumbing, and Pneumatics)
Prepare Mechanical Programming packages,
Prepare Mechanical Schematic Design packages,
Prepare Figures for reports/specifications,
Coordinate Building Point Clouds,
Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines, Authority Having Jurisdiction, system engineers, facility managers, project managers, and project engineers. Build teaming relationship with technical and other company organizations.
Develop technical requirements for infrastructure programs/projects.
Ensure design deliverables comply with laws, codes, orders, and MSTS policies and procedures.
Work effectively as a team member and leader to ensure task and project success.

Ability to Obtain Q

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering program, prefer degree accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), and at least 8 years' relevant experience.

Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.

Preferred skills:
Mechanical Engineer PE.
Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Illustrators),
SolidWorks.
AutoCAD,
Revit
