They handle the direction of field workers, work order task reviews, engineering change reviews, etc. These Field Engineer positions would be a liaison between these IMs, the planners, and the design engineers. Someone that can complete walkdowns, review design against as-found/as-built conditions, and make drawings corrections in the field. The gap we have is the coordination between those three groups I mentioned and these individuals will be the bridge for that gap.
