Plant Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Stony Creek, VA
Pay: $35 plus--Depends on Experience

Responsibilities:
Installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical components of industrial equipment
Making decisions based on technical documents
Perform quality testing and inspections
Perform maintenance task troubleshoot, repair and maintain all facility equipment
Inspect equipment for defects
Assemble and aligns gears, bearings, and shafts, involving the application of press, and running fits.
Make either temporary or permanent changes

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Mine experience preferred BUT not required
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hand tools and industrial equipment
Awareness of national, state and local electrical codes and regulations
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
Will perform physically demanding task, such as heavy lifting, climbing ladders, crawling, ect.
