Position Summary:
We are seeking a Production Manager – Stamping & Tooling to oversee and direct the operations of our stamping and tooling business unit. This leadership role involves managing production workflows, supervising teams, and driving process improvements to meet performance and customer satisfaction goals. The Production Manager will work closely with the VP of Operations and the Business Unit Director to implement world-class manufacturing practices and achieve consistent growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise daily operations of the stamping and tooling production unit.
Collaborate with the Business Unit Director on quoting projects, run rate confirmations, and resource planning.
Oversee tooling and die operations, ensuring efficiency in building, maintaining, and repairing tools and dies.
Review completed projects and discuss closeout results with the Business Unit Director and Planner.
Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, leveraging automation and QMS documentation.
Promote premier customer service by fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Conduct research and development to enhance product offerings and production capabilities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, focusing on skill development and talent retention.
ualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with expertise in stamping, tooling, and production engineering.
Proven track record in managing workflows, conducting time studies, and implementing quality standards.
Hands-on experience in Tool & Die operations, including progressive dies and fixtures.
Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other CAD systems.
Strong understanding of stamping processes, tooling design, and progressive manufacturing methods.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems for project and resource management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Education & Certifications:

Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Certifications in Tool & Die (e.g., TMA or equivalent) and CAD systems are highly desirable.
OSHA Outreach and NIMS certifications are a plus.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
