PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Production Test Technician lll, in Ronkonkoma, NY.

Job Description:-Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
-Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
-Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
-Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
-Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.

-Ability to read/comprehend directions & schematics, ability to work with hand & power tools, ability to work on ladders @ heights, as required to perform job duties, knowledge of plumbing & fabrication (i.e- tube bending & installation, compression and/or flare type fitting installation), ability to work in team environment, and be flexible with day to day responsibilities, and able to work outdoors as needed for job task (summer/winter)
Preferred skillset, but not required:
-Experience with forklifts
-Welding/ hot work usage
-Knowledge of maintenance repair to valves/compressors/regulators a plus
