System One is currently seeking a Civil Construction Supervisor (Wind) on a 12 month contract position located in Rolla, ND.

Civil Construction Supervisor Responsibilities:
Oversee contractors performing civil tasks such as constructing access roads, crane pads, and turnarounds.
Ensure compliance with road use agreements and other civil-related regulations.
Work with internal resources from citing and land rights to ensure all activities are properly authorized and documented.
Collaborate with environmental teams to ensure that the project does not cause undue harm to infrastructure, fields or neighboring properties.
Ensure that all interactions with neighbors and stakeholders are conducted with respect and dignity, maintaining positive community relations.
Planning, oversight and coordination to ensure that all civil aspects of the wind repower project are managed effectively and in compliance with relevant agreements and regulations.
Start the day with planning session to outline the days objectives and tasks.
Hold meeting with contractors to discuss the plan of the day, address concerns and ensure everyone is aligned on the days activities.
Conduct site inspections to oversee the construction of access roads, crane pads and turnarounds.
Ensure that all work is being performed according to the project specifications and compliance requirements.
Verify compliance with road use agreements and other civil-related regulations.
Work with internal resources from citing and land rights to ensure all activities are properly authorized and documented.
Collaborate with environmental teams to ensure that the project does not cause undue harm to infrastructure, fields or neighboring properties.
Engage with neighbors and stakeholders to address any concerns and ensure that all interactions are conducting with respect and dignity.
Throughout the day, address any issues that arise, such as delays in construction or compliance challenges. Quickly find solutions to keep the project on track.
Make any necessary adjustments to the civil work plan based on real-time developments and feedback from the field.
Review days progress, ensuring all tasks were completed as planned.
Document any important observations or issues.
Begin planning for the next day, ensuring that all necessary resources and information are in place for continued smooth operations.

Civil Construction Supervisor Requirements:
3-7 years of renewable civil experience.
Previous experience in the civil aspects of renewable projects, particularly wind projects. This includes tasks such as temporary road construction, road removal, ground decompaction and restoration.
Familiarity with road use agreements and compliance with civil-related regulations.
Experience with crane setups and takedowns, ensuring that the civil works support the stability and safety of the cranes.

Pay Rate: $57-61/hr
PD: $178/day
