Title: Field Service Technician

Job Summary:
PIC Group has an excellent opportunity for skilled Field Service Technicians on a contract basis, with the potential for transitioning to a direct hire role. As a Field Technician, you will provide hands-on cleaning, outage services, and support for industrial equipment across various facilities. This role requires extensive travel and adaptability, as Field Service Technicians may be deployed to different project sites depending on client needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on cleaning and outage services for equipment and piping systems in industrial and power generation facilities
• Work on temporary, project-based assignments at client sites, with tasks that include setup, operation, and teardown of cleaning equipment.
• Handle piping systems for steam, chemicals, and other materials, ensuring safe and effective operation in high-stakes environments.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and task completion, reporting all work activities to the Project Manager.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, using PPE and following all safety and compliance standards.
Job Requirements:
• Strong familiarity with piping systems, including steam, chemical, and other industrial lines.
• Experience with industrial cleaning processes and equipment for complex systems in high-stakes environments.
• Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment, including setup, operation, and teardown.
• Ability to interpret and follow technical instructions, safety protocols, and detailed task documentation.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills for handling equipment malfunctions during field operations.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work at various client locations as needed, including overnight stays and remote site deployments.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with site teams and client representatives.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying project requirements, timelines, and locations while maintaining a high level of performance.
• Knowledge of piping systems, including steam and chemical lines; familiarity with industrial cleaning processes and equipment.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and reach frequently, with occasional sitting and screen viewing.
• Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds, and comfortable working in varied weather conditions and confined spaces.
Education / Experience:
• A four-year degree, from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Field Technician, preferably in industrial or power generation environments.
• Background or knowledge in power generation is a plus but not required.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
