Analyst – New Orleans, LA
Work from Home or Office Seeking Local Candidates
Anticipated schedule or work hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate
Daily tasks will be supporting the R&D Tax Department team with clerical responsibilities such as documentation management and formatting client deliverables such as written reports and spreadsheet calculations, as well as creation of project specific spreadsheets from raw data.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the R&D Tax Department Team
• Obtain extensive documentation from client web portals and organize & distribute to appropriate team members
• Create & update electronic file structure for multiple clients
• Maintain & revise project management trackers in MS Excel
• Data scrub clients’ raw accounting data using MS Excel
• Generate & format spreadsheets from client data using MS Excel
• Sustain customer confidence and project operations by keeping information confidential
• Draft report templates for the engineering team using Microsoft Word
• Verify all referenced supporting documentation included in final client deliverables.
• Edit and format final versions of client deliverables using Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
• Responsible for managing review of final client documentation to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely fashion
• Effectively communicate with project engineers to ensure project assignments are completed within the provided timeline.
• Ensures all project documentation is accurate and uploaded in internal and external systems.
• Responsible for tracking project changes and update project schedules
• Review final deliverables for consistency.
Education and Experience:
• Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office
• Data entry experience or related office experience
• Excel experience required
• Excel Pivot Table experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience
