Seeking Site Safety Manager with Utility-Scale Windfarm Safety Oversite experience.
50/hr + ST OT + Per Diem + Mob/Demob + Health Benefits + Rotations Home (if outside 250+ mile radius of project site)

Anticipated 50+/hrs per week schedule, 5-6 days/week.

The primary responsibility of the Site Safety Manager/Coordinator is to improve the overall safety of the workplace by conducting safety assessments, monitoring the work site for safety policy, standards, and protocol compliance; enforcing safety standards, educating/coaching employees, contractors, and vendors on safety policies, standards, and protocols; and monitoring crew morale.
The Site Safety Manager will report all violations of safety policy, standards, and/or protocols to the Site Construction Manager/CEG Safety Manager, and work directly with the Site Construction Manager to correct any violations and ensure employees, contractors, and vendors comply with safety policy, standards, and protocols.

Safety Manager/Coordinator Responsibilities:
Meet with site team daily to review and discuss Safety Observations, concerns, corrective actions.
Attend and participate in daily POD with the EPC contractor, and vendors.
Present safety moments to POD attendees that are applicable to work being performed and site conditions.
Attend orientations and site-specific training.
Monitor and enforce safe practices on site.
Collaborate with Subcontractors, EPC, Safety officials.
Maintain quarterly, monthly, bi-weekly, and daily reporting responsibilities.
Track and report Safety manhours on the site.
Educating team members and leadership about health and safety standards.
Ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations.
Maintain record keeping for health and safety data.
Oversee monthly PPE inspections.
Oversee the monthly inspections on Basic first aid kits on site.
Oversee monthly inspections of fire extinguishers carried on vehicles.
Serve as subject matter expert on safety related issues for the Construction Manager.
