Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on equipment selections, site assessments, and grading analysis to determine optimal solutions.
- Lead early development and preliminary engineering for projects.
- Guide projects through detailed design phases and ensure they meet technical, regulatory, and budget requirements.
- Manage projects during engineering and procurement phases.
- Lead risk management activities with developed mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the point of contact for technical queries from the construction team, facilitating handoff to field engineering at construction.
- Resolve technical issues during procurement, review technical bids, support contract negotiations, and develop procurement timelines with key delivery milestones.
- Support project proposals by reviewing technical specifications, geotechnical reports, and project requirements.
- Evaluate vendor bids to ensure they meet design and engineering criteria and advise the project team on vendor selection.
- Coordinate project schedules with various teams.
- Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in development or engineering of utility-scale solar or BESS projects.
- Must have experience managing a cross-functional project.
- Proficient in energy modeling software, CAD tools, and GIS.
- Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Must be able to commute to The Woodlands, TX.
- Some travel to project sites or events may be required
