We are seeking experienced X Ray Tube Welders to assist with a month-long project in New York working inside a gas plant. We will have continuous work afterwards for the right candidates.

Daily responsibilities and experience:
-Working during forced outages/emergencies (day or night shift)
-Performing high quality welds with sometimes limited visibility,
-Familiar with a range of filler metals and welding processes to perform welds on boiler tubes and components,
-Making, installing, and repairing boilers,
-Welding and bolting pieces together,
-Testing boilers & performing routine maintenance,
-Reading and interpreting diagrams, sketches, blueprints,
-Performing jobs safely while adhering to all safety guidelines,
-Responsibility for quality and safety while in the workplace.
-Pass a Restricted Mirror Tube Test,
-Experience with X Ray Welding in a power plant,
-Experience welding boiler tubes & mirror welding,
-Boilermaker experience

Job Type: Temporary with potential for more
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour, hotel / per diem / transportation reimbursement. Saturdays are time and a half, Sundays are double time.
Expected Hours: No more than 84 per week
Shift Expectations:
-12 hour shift
-Day shift/Night Shift
