[Commissioning Manager] Solar Commissioning Manager Needed!

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Solar Commissioning Manager to oversee the entire commissioning and testing process for PV installations throughout the state of New York until they're operational and handed over to the customer for the next 2-6 months. Hourly pay is between $50 - $70/hour, plus $150/day in per diem!

Duties:
- Contribute to the commissioning process for utility-scale solar projects, including PV systems, inverters, and transformers.
- Be adept to the commissioning scopes across the project to include electrical testing and troubleshooting, following the site-specific commissioning schedule, plans, testing documents and start-up procedures.
- Review the project drawings to ensure the deliverables are understood, met, and align with the project goals and timelines.
- Willingness to listen and learn those essential commissioning processes and technical specifications from the Commissioning Manager.
- Execute, maintain, and enforce safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintain commissioning logs and equipment checklists.

Qualifications:
- Experience in the Solar commissioning activities or equivalent in utility-scale solar and renewable energy is advantageous.
- Familiar with National Electric Code (NEC) requirements.
- Strong ability to adapt to instructions while having sound organizational skills.
- Suitable project management skills.
- Must maintain a good driving record and valid driver's license.
- OSHA 30 certified preferred
- Familiar with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
- First Aid/CPR certified recommended.
- Computer skills, Word, MS, Excel.
