Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Superintendents needed ASAP

How you�ll contribute�
Boyd Jones is seeking several Superintendents to act as on-site supervision of Construction Coordinators, Forepersons, and all craft personnel (e.g., equipment operators, laborers, electricians, etc.) and their scope of work. The Mechanical Superintendent schedules labor, materials, tools, equipment, inspections, and subcontractors within work discipline to effectively ensure all resources are supporting the project schedule, and contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities�
Review construction documents for completeness and constructability
Review and understand contract documents
Ensure safety, quality, and productivity is attained, and costs are controlled in the appropriate construction discipline
Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies
Participate in the development and management of a project schedule to include three and six week look ahead schedules
Handle the utilization of (Co..) tools and equipment
Collaborate with project constituents
Conduct effective pre-construction planning sessions and project site meetings
Supervise project partners, craft forepersons, and crews
Responsible for the mentoring, management, and timely performance evaluation of Construction Coordinator(s), General Foreperson(s), and Foreperson(s)
Interview, hire, transfer, and if needed, terminate craft workers
Ensure proper task coding of work hours on timecards
Manage and track work progress and craft productivity
Lead craft team member training, ensuring they are current prior to starting task
Conduct career development discussions with forepersons and craft team members
What you�ll bring�
5 years experience supervising a construction crew and working in one of the following types of construction: grading, structural, and/or mechanical
Must have a valid driver�s license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR)
Ability to supervise a large number of employees
Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses and limitations
Excellent communication skills to communicate with owners and employees
Possess a solid understanding of job costing
Must be willing to relocate to the project site for the duration of each assigned project
May be required to become a qualified individual in pursuit of a company contract licensing, or journeyman or master electrician license
Ability to read and understand prints and contract documents
Know and understand the required federal and state codes for the project
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of construction safety requirements; OSHA 10 or 30 certification
Utility scale solar
Office 365
Experience with Procore and other project management software including Bluebeam, Salesforce, and Box
