Trillium Construction is now seeking traveling Wind Turbine Technicians for full-time work!

Perform major wind turbine component replacements (blades, gearboxes, generators, pitch bearings, hubs) and heavy rigging operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities include:
-Troubleshooting and repairs to specialty equipment
-Perform heavy rigging operations up to 100 tons.
-Operate Lift equipment
-Travel when required (4-6 weeks at a time)

Compensation based on experience!
-Lead Tech: $36-$39/hr.
-Tech 3: $32-$36/hr.
-Tech 2: $28-$32/hr.
-Tech 1 (Entry-Level): $22-$28/hr.

Qualifications:
-Climbing to and working at heights of 300 feet or more.
-Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
-Mechanical knowledge
-Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
-Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
-Microsoft Office Software knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook)

-High School Diploma or equivalent
-At least 2 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance; preferably in major component exchange (Exceptions based on experience and background)
-Familiarity with heavy rigging preferred
-Must be able to pass core safety, climbing and other required training courses
-CP Certification from SGRE a PLUS!
-Must possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and proof of insurance coverage upon job offer.
-Must be willing to obtain a class A CDL with air brake endorsement
