Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with Amazon and Material Handling Systems experience to manage a project involving the installation of a material handling system. This role ensures that all projects meet high standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, oversees project planning and execution, and ensures alignment with company goals and financial objectives. By coordinating multidisciplinary teams and resources, this role is pivotal in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the specifications required by clients.

Responsibilities:
-Tracks financial results of projects in real-time, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgets.
-Verifies the accuracy of reports.
-Generates Cost-to-Complete reports for all projects underway.
-Develops and maintains detailed project schedules, including defined tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
-Proactively identifies and mitigates risks to project timelines and budgets.
-Conducts quality checks on installations, in person where possible, or via photo and report documentation.
-Ensures all installations comply with industry codes and safety best practices.
-Ensures all resources accurately clock in and out at the job site daily for accounting and liability compliance
-Creates detailed project documentation, including scope, change management, and post-project evaluations.
-Maintains certifications for key field staff, including OSHA and equipment operator certifications.
-Reviews and approves new field staff employees and subcontractors; makes recommendations for recruitment needs.
-Makes recommendations for recruiting, training, and development to HR and General Manager.
-Manages rental equipment for installations and ensures optimal allocation of resources.
-Establishes and maintains vendor and subcontractor relationships to ensure reliable support and services.
-Obtains and manages the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all assigned projects, regardless of discipline, to ensure timely and accurate resource allocation.
-Maintains a visible and professional presence with clients to foster strong relationships.
-Leads and participates in training classes and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
-Coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and task execution.
-Leverages data and analytics to improve project planning and execution efficiency.
-Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies.
-Ensure projects align with long-term organizational goals and client expectations.
-Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
-MUST have Amazon and Material Handling Systems experience
-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

-Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
-Strong Analytical and problem-solving expertise
-Strong Leadership and supervisory capabilities
-Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant project management software
-Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about projects, material handling systems, and installations
-At least three years of experience managing projects, preferably in industrial material handling systems
-Ability to travel 25% of the time
