Trillium Construction is hiring Project Controls Coordinator / Schedulers in the Southeast with Industrial Process Piping & Mechanical Experience. This position requires travel (travel 2x a month for 2-3 days at a time). Pay is DOE starting at $70,000 per year with overtime opportunity. Per diem is available while traveling and is paid on a per project basis, based on geographic location.
Job Duties:
Completes detailed calculations to verify system design meets code and standard requirements.
Participates in pre/post project design meeting and attends customer/site coordination meetings, as applicable.
Develops bill of materials to facilitate construction.
Provides support to Project Managers when orders have been received to assist in maintaining and/or improving project margins.
Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction CPM Schedule(s).
Review project documents and specifications to accurately develop baseline schedules which include all required dates, activities, and milestones.
Perform progress schedule updates to include comprehensive reporting and narratives.
Qualifications:
Proficient in reading and understanding architectural, Civil, Structural, Piping, and electrical diagrams.
Advanced understanding of mechanical systems and their interface to fire alarm systems.
Fundamental understanding and experience with: P6, CAD, Projects, Bluebeam, Excel, Navis Works, Microsoft Office Suite including, Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and Adobe.
Effective written and oral communications.
Ability to work a full-time schedule.
Demonstrated ability in drafting/CAD, computer skills estimating/pricing, and project management.
Experience developing construction project schedules.
Must have ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
