Construction Safety Manager
Location: De Soto, KS
Pay: $40 per hour + $100 per day per diem (7 days)
Hours: 50-60 hours per week
Project: Large-Scale Industrial Construction

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety protocols on a large-scale industrial project in De Soto, KS. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in industrial construction safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, site-specific safety programs, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety programs.
Conduct daily safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and company safety regulations.
Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for all site personnel.
Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
Oversee permit-to-work procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and fall protection programs.
Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor and enforce PPE compliance and proper use of safety equipment.
Maintain and update all safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction safety management, preferably in an industrial setting.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial construction safety protocols.
Experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and accident investigations.
Strong communication and leadership skills to enforce safety culture on-site.
Certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or other safety-related credentials preferred.
Ability to work 50-60 hours per week for the duration of the project.
