Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Millwrights for a 3/3/2025 start in Muscatine, IA.

$100 PER DIEM PER DAY WORKED

� PAY: $30/hr

� HOURS: Shifts will be 8 hours starting at 7AM

� SCHEDULE: Work will be Monday-Friday; approximately 40 hours/week

� START DATE: 3/3/2025

� DURATION: This is a 3-4 week+ contract position

Millwright Job Description:

Working with engineers and other construction professionals to understand the blueprints and layout of the plant.
Determining the optimal placement of machines, conveyors, silos, elevators, and other systems based on the plant�s workflow.
Installing heavy machinery, such as grain milling equipment, conveyors, compressors, elevators, fans, and silos, from the ground up.
Assembling and aligning these systems to ensure they are positioned correctly and meet design specifications.
Ensuring all machinery is properly aligned and leveled during installation to guarantee smooth operation once the plant is up and running.
Using specialized tools and precision measurements to align components like shafts, gears, belts, and motors.
Fabricating and welding steel structures for equipment installation or modification.
Creating custom solutions when parts or configurations need to be tailored to meet specific operational requirements.
Installing piping and other systems necessary for the operation of the plant, including water or air supply systems, cooling systems, and lubrication lines.
Connecting equipment to utilities like electricity and water.
Working closely with electricians to ensure that the mechanical systems integrate with the electrical systems of the plant, such as motors, sensors, and control panels.
Helping install and connect mechanical parts to electrical drives, ensuring the machinery operates as intended.
Qualifications for Millwright:

� 3+ years of Millwright experience

� Strong background in Structural Steel Work

� Pipe installation experience

� Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE

� Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted

� Must be eligible to work in the United States

� Must have reliable transportation to the job site
