Journeyman Pipefitter
Location: De Soto, KS
Pay: $36 per hour + $100 per day per diem (7 days)
Hours: 50-60 hours per week
Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:
We are hiring experienced Journeyman Pipefitters for a long-term industrial project in De Soto, KS. This position requires skilled tradespeople with expertise in fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements.
Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes to required angles and specifications.
Install and secure pipes, valves, and fittings according to job specifications.
Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other industrial piping materials.
Perform pressure testing and quality inspections on installed systems.
Troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed.
Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety guidelines.
Job Requirements:
Must have journeyman-level pipefitting experience in an industrial setting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and isometric drawings.
Ability to work with various types of piping, including threaded, welded, and grooved systems.
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor conditions.
Must have own basic tools and PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, etc.).
Ability to commit to 50-60 hours per week for the duration of the project.
