Mechanical Conveyor Installers specialize in assembling, installing, and maintaining conveyor systems. Responsibilities encompass reading blueprints, troubleshooting malfunctions, and ensuring optimal system performance. Expertise in mechanical systems and problem-solving skills are essential.
$30/hr + $110 PD
MUST have conveyor installation experience
Located at Palm Beach Int. Airport
40 hour work week expected. Potentially overtime depending on project needs.

Responsibilities:
The primary duties of a Millwright is to focus on installation support. Their responsibilities can vary significantly not only from one position to another but also from day to day in the same role. On any given day, they may undertake a range of tasks, including:
Install mechanical conveyors in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer instructions
Assemble and align conveyor components, such as motors, pulleys, bearings, belts, chains, and gears
Test installed conveyor systems to ensure they meet performance requirements and safety regulations
Adjust and modify conveyor components to ensure proper functioning
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with conveyor systems and perform necessary repairs
Document installation and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and job completion time
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful completion of conveyor installation projects
Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of conveyor systems
Potentially required to perform material handler responsibilities when not engaged in primary responsibilities
Demonstrate and uphold all core values such as integrity, accountability, and teamwork
Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics
Knowledge of conveyor systems and installation practices
Experience with welding, cutting, and fabrication of metal components
Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients
Availability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
Commitment to safety regulations and procedures
Be able to comply with a fingerprint clearance
A valid driver's license will be required
A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required
CRAS adheres to a strict Substance abuse policy. Employment within CRAS is contingent upon successful completion of Pre-Employment 10-year background screening as well as a 10-Panel non DOT drug screening.
