Location: Indianapolis, IN (and travel as required)
Pay: $32–$36 per hour + Per Diem

Position Summary:
As a Pipe Welder, you will perform welding tasks for various industrial and commercial projects, ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role requires travel to job sites outside the Indianapolis area as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG, MIG, and/or stick welding on pipe systems of various materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding procedures to ensure accurate and efficient execution.
Measure, cut, and prepare pipes for welding.
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications, codes, and safety requirements.
Operate and maintain welding tools, equipment, and machinery.
Collaborate with other team members, including fitters and foremen, to complete projects on schedule.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies on job sites.
Travel to project locations as required; per diem provided for travel outside the Indianapolis area.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a pipe welder in industrial or commercial settings.
Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and stick welding techniques.
Familiarity with ASME or AWS welding standards (certifications preferred).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in various positions, and tolerate exposure to heat and confined spaces.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly pay: $32–$36 per hour, based on experience.
Per diem: $100 per day for projects in Indianapolis; $160 per day for projects outside of the area.
